2025 NFL Mock Draft

—-------------------------------

With the draft tomorrow, there is a lot of speculation of who each team might get. Soon our suspicions will be confirmed, but for now all we can do is speculate on what all 32 teams might do with their first-round picks and that’s what I’ll be doing today.

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pick #1: Tennessee Titans select Miami QB Cam Ward

—------------------------------------------------------------------

This selection has essentially been a lock for weeks. The Titans need a quarterback, and they get the consensus QB1 in the electrifying Ward.

Pick #2: Cleveland Browns select Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the Browns having a lot of needs across the roster, they opt to go with the best overall talent on the board, nabbing the versatile Hunter. If Cleveland utilizes him correctly, Hunter has the potential to develop into one of the most special athletes the league has seen due to his excellent two-way talent.

Pick #3: New York Giants select Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even with the Giants lack of a franchise quarterback on the roster, the opportunity to select the uber-talented Carter was too much to ignore. Carter would pair with stars Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence to create one of the scariest front fours in the NFL.

Pick #4: New England Patriots select LSU OT Will Campbell

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the need to protect franchise QB Drake Maye in mind, The Patriots going with the highly touted Will Campbell seems like a solid pick. Campbell would provide the struggling New England offensive line with a bookend tackle for years to come.

Pick #5: Jacksonville Jaguars select Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Jaguars experienced struggles in the run game last year and selecting one of the best RB prospects of all time in Jeanty will certainly give them a boost. Jeanty is a well-rounded, dynamic weapon in the rushing and receiving game who would give Jacksonville an offensive cornerstone for the future to pair with WR Brian Thomas Jr.

Pick #6: Las Vegas Raiders select Missouri OT Armand Membou

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the Raiders trading for and extending veteran QB Geno Smith, selecting a stalwart like Membou seems like an optimal way to maximize him. Membou is a powerful and athletic tackle that would help Las Vegas protect their new signal caller.

Pick #7: New York Jets select Texas OT Kelvin Banks Jr.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------

Similar to the Raiders, the Jets also made a QB change this offseason, signing Justin Fields to a lucrative deal. Picking the highly touted Banks here will be a big upgrade to the left tackle spot for New York in hopes of protecting their new quarterback.

Pick #8: Carolina Panthers select Georgia LB Jalon Walker

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Panthers got torched last year defensively, so opting for the versatile Walker at this selection would be a huge help. Walker has the ability to fill multiple roles defensively and fits perfectly in Carolina’s creative defensive scheme under DC Ejiro Evero.

Pick #9: New Orleans Saints select Michigan DT Mason Graham

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Saints have needs all across the roster, so picking the best player available on the board here with Graham is a solid strategy. Graham would give New Orleans a true havoc wreaker in the trenches of their defense.

Pick #10: Chicago Bears select Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The run on defensive players continues, as Chicago appears to be a seamless fit for Williams. The Bears were unable to receive much production on the defensive line outside of Montez Sweat, so adding a player with sky high potential like Williams seems like an excellent selection.

Pick #11: San Francisco 49ers select Ohio State OT Josh Simmons

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With a rare down season, the 49ers find themselves towards the top of the draft for the first time in a while and can secure a big piece of their offensive line for the future. If not for an injury, Simmons likely would have been seen as the best tackle in the class, so San Francisco getting him here would be exceptional.

Pick #12: Dallas Cowboys select Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Cowboys have lacked premier options offensively outside of CeeDee Lamb for a while now, so selecting McMillian here sounds great for them. McMillan’s great contested catching ability paired with his unique agility would be a perfect complement to CeeDee Lamb and give Dak Prescott another weapon.

Pick #13: Miami Dolphins select Michigan CB Will Johnson

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Dolphins have a glaring need at corner, which makes the playmaking Will Johnson a perfect pick at this spot. Johnson has excellent cover skills and fluidity that Miami could definitely use in the back end of their defense.

Pick #14: Indianapolis Colts select Penn State TE Tyler Warren

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Colts need more game changers offensively, so selecting the jack-of-all-trades Warren seems like a great fit. Warren has a very versatile skill set that would be perfect for the Indianapolis offense under innovative play caller Shane Steichen.

Pick #15: Atlanta Falcons select Marshall EDGE Mike Green

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Falcons are once again in the draft with a glaring lack of a good pass rusher, so picking the most productive pass rusher left in Green is a great idea. Although Green has a few character concerns, his talent and physical tools are undeniable.

Pick #16: Arizona Cardinals select Texas DB Jahdae Barron

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------

With the necessity for a defensive back, the Cardinals nabbing the multifaceted Barron here would be outstanding. Barron gives Arizona a turnover-producing machine who is also capable of playing multiple different roles in their defense.

Pick #17: Cincinnati Bengals select Boston College EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Bengals have big needs defensively, so selecting the well-rounded Ezeiruaku is an excellent option. Ezeiruaku isn’t the sexiest pick but would fill a bunch of different voids for Cincinnati defensively due to his stout run defense and superb pass rushing ability.

Pick #18: Seattle Seahawks select North Dakota State OG Grey Zabel

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Seahawks are really lacking in the interior of the offensive line, so picking Zabel here at 18 seems like a great option. Zabel is versatile, athletic, and profiles as a good fit in Seattle’s rushing scheme.

Pick #19: Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With star LB Lavonte David aging, the Buccaneers picking someone who can help replace him in Campbell seems like a good plan. Campbell is a disruptive defender who can impact the game in a few different ways and would be an awesome value if he was available at this pick.

Pick #20: Denver Broncos select Texas WR Matthew Golden

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Broncos could use some playmakers on the outside besides Courtland Sutton, which leads to Golden making a lot of sense as the choice here. Golden has a well-rounded arsenal of skills paired with an expansive route tree that result in him being a complete offensive weapon that would be amazing for Denver.

Pick #21: Pittsburgh Steelers select Colorado QB Shadeur Sanders

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Steelers desperately need to find their answer at the quarterback position, and with Sanders falling, he could end up being a solid solution. Sanders projects as a field general with an accurate arm and ability to sling it, which fits well with the deep threat skillsets of George Pickens and DK Metcalf in the Pittsburgh receiving room.

Pick #22: Los Angeles Chargers select Michigan DT Kenneth Grant

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh in charge, the connection with Grant seems well in the realm of possibility. The Chargers don’t have a lot of great talent on the defensive line currently, so selecting a multifaceted beast like Grant would be outstanding.

Pick #23: Green Bay Packers select Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Packers often look for upside in the first round, particularly on the defensive line, so going with Stewart here makes a lot of sense. Stewart has some inconsistencies and lacks production but has the physical tools and athleticism that give him the potential to turn into a massive steal this far down the board.

Pick #24: Minnesota Vikings select Georgia DB Malaki Starks

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------

With longtime starting safety Cam Bynum departing in free agency, the Vikings have the perfect opportunity to replace him with the best safety in the class in Malaki Starks. Starks is a versatile and athletic playmaker who can thrive at various roles across a defense and profiles as a solid fit into a Vikings defense that asks players to fill a multitude of roles.

Pick #25: Houston Texans select Alabama OG Tyler Booker

—------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Texans have had offensive line struggles and just traded their best offensive lineman, so picking Booker makes a ton of sense here. Booker’s great pass protection will help protect CJ Stroud from experiencing as much pressure as he did last year.

Pick #26: Los Angeles Rams select Michigan TE Colston Loveland

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With rumors swirling that the Rams are looking to move up for a tight end, they don’t even need to in this scenario as the uber-talented Loveland falls right into their laps. Loveland is an outstanding receiving tight end with an expansive route tree, which makes an amazing weapon and an ideal fit for the Rams offense.

Pick #27: Baltimore Ravens select Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Ravens had defensive tackle Michael Pierce retire this offseason, so selecting Nolen here gives them a replacement that will offer even more. Nolen provides Baltimore with interior pressure they have been sorely missing alongside DT Nnambi Madubuike.

Pick #28: Detroit Lions select Ohio State OG Donovan Jackson

—----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Lions have a substantial hole at right guard due to the departure of Kevin Zeitler this offseason, which makes Jackson a perfect selection here. Jackson is a very solid prospect with power, fluidity, and versatility that would help Detroit’s already great offensive line.

Pick #29: Washington Commanders select North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Commanders struggled to run the ball with Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler last year, so adding Hampton to a backfield with Jayden Daniels seems like it would be an absolute slam dunk. Hampton is a physical back with great burst and speed that would make for a dangerous backfield in Washington.

Pick #30: Buffalo Bills select Oregon DT Derrick Harmon

—--------------------------------------------------------------------

The Bills could use an interior defensive lineman, so going with Harmon while he is falling down the board appears to be a very solid plan. Harmon would be an exceptional selection for Buffalo due to his combination of power and versatility in pass rushing and run defense situations.

Pick #31: Kansas City Chiefs select Ole Miss CB Trey Amos

—------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since the loss of L’Jarius Sneed a few offseasons ago, the Chiefs have done little to replenish the secondary but could do so by making Amos the pick at this spot. Amos is a big, physical corner with impressive coverage skills and versatility that would fit right into Steve Spagnoulo’s defense.

Pick #32: Philadelphia Eagles select Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even though wide receiver is a premium for the Eagles, the chance to add a talent like Egbuka doesn’t come around often. Egbuka gives Philadelphia their typical draft day steal due to his well-rounded receiving profile of tough catch making, consistency, physical tools, and route running dropping this low in the draft.
