With their last pick of the 2025 draft the Pittsburgh Steelers selected cornerback Donte Kent out of Central Michigan in the 7th round.
Who is Donte Kent?
Kent was born September 28, 2001 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He attended Harrisburg High School and committed to play college football for the Central Michigan Chippewas.
During his collegiate career at Central Michigan, Kent played a total of 53 games and collected 234 tackles with six being for a loss, a sack and a half, 46 pass deflections, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

What do the Steelers get?
Kent could add depth to the secondary and could one day possibly contribute as a nickel back. No guarantee he makes the team in 2025.
