Sportsvival will take our first crack at the seven round mock draft for the Steelers. Let’s first start off by assuming that Aaron Rodgers will sign some time in June. Probably after some nature hike where he finds his path to clarity.
Here is who we think that the Steelers will go after in the April 24-26 NFL Draft.
In a deep offensive line and defensive line draft, here is the direction that SV thinks Pittsburgh will go.
Round 1- Derrick Harmon (DT) Oregon - Why? Baltimore ran for nearly 300 yds!
***NO round 2—-See DK Metcalf.
Round 3- Jaylen Royals (WR) Utah St - Last yr of Pickens deal & haven't seen Wilson play a down yet.
Round 4- Kyle McCord (QB) Syracuse - Beat up ACC defenses after a year at Ohio St.
Round 5- Bhayshul Tuten (RB) V-Tech - Game breaking speed!
Round 6- Vernon Broughton (DT) Texas- Again, Baltimore ran for 300 yards!! The defensive line is aging and without depth.
Round 7- Jalen Travis (OT) Iowa St - In case Broderick Jones or Troy Fautanu don't work out.
