2026 NFL Draft - Quarterbacks

Sportsvival is officially full force into scouting for the 2026 NFL Draft. Film rooms are active, notebooks are filling up, and early evaluations are underway as we begin stacking the most important position in the class. What follows is a very early look at the top quarterback prospects expected to headline the 2026 draft cycle.

This board is far from final. Team needs, scheme fits, postseason all-star events, combine testing, medical evaluations, and pro-day performances will all reshape the landscape over the next year. Quarterback evaluations, more than any position, are fluid, and this list reflects

current tape-based projections, not finished verdicts.

1. Fernando Mendoza- QB, Indiana

6’5”, 225 lbs- Projected Round: 1st (Top-5)

Mendoza checks every franchise-box: size, arm strength, composure, and high-level processing from the pocket. He consistently wins on timing and anticipation, projecting as a true QB1 capable of elevating an NFL offense.

2. Ty Simpson- QB, Alabama

6’2”, 208 lbs- Projected Round: 1st–2nd

Simpson’s athleticism and command within a pro-style system give him legitimate starter traits. His ability to extend plays without abandoning structure keeps his ceiling firmly in the early-round conversation.

3. Trinidad Chambliss- QB, Ole Miss

6’1”, 200 lbs- Projected Round: 2nd–3rd

Chambliss brings toughness, confidence, and dual-threat production against SEC competition. While his long-term ceiling remains debated, his competitive edge and efficiency keep him trending upward.

4. Carson Beck- QB, Miami (FL)

6’4”, 220 lbs- Projected Round: 2nd

A rhythm passer with NFL size and arm talent, Beck operates best when he can stay on schedule. Consistency under pressure will determine whether he pushes into Round 1 territory or settles as a strong Day 2 option.

5. Drew Allar- QB, Penn State

6’5”, 235 lbs-Projected Round: 2nd–3rd

Allar’s physical profile is prototypical, and his arm talent jumps off the tape. Refinement in accuracy and decision-making will be the swing factors in how aggressively teams pursue his upside.

6. Garrett Nussmeier - QB, LSU

6’2”, 205 lbs- Projected Round: 3rd

Nussmeier is a natural thrower with anticipation and off-platform ability, capable of creating outside of structure. Reducing volatility and turnovers will be key as evaluators determine his pro projection.

7. Cade Klubnik - QB, Clemson

6’2”, 210 lbs- Projected Round: 3rd–4th

A competitive, intelligent quarterback with solid mobility and touch, Klubnik profiles as a strong system fit. His value will rise or fall based on how well teams believe he can operate efficiently within structure.

8. Taylen Green-QB, Arkansas

6’6”, 230 lbs- Projected Round: 3rd–4th

Green is one of the most physically intriguing quarterbacks in the class, blending rare size with athleticism. Continued development as a passer will determine whether he becomes a high- upside steal or a longer-term project.

9. Sawyer Robertson - QB, Baylor

6’4”, 220 lbs- Projected Round: 4th–5th

Robertson offers experience, leadership, and solid field vision, projecting as a developmental quarterback with reliable backup potential. His polish keeps him firmly on NFL radars.

10. Diego Pavia- QB, Vanderbilt

5’10”, 198 lbs- Projected Round: 5th–6th

A fearless competitor and dynamic playmaker, Pavia thrives when the play breaks down. While size limits his projection, his toughness and energy give him a chance to carve out a role at the next level.

Sportsvival Note: This board will evolve significantly as the draft cycle unfolds. Combine testing, interviews, medicals, and team-specific needs will all play a major role in reshaping these projections, and quarterback risers and fallers are inevitable.
