Impact HVAC Player of the Week -Week 15
Sportsvival had a difficult choice for this week’s Impact HVAC Player of the Week, but Florida running back Jadan Baugh earned the honor after a relentless, workmanlike performance in the rivalry win over Florida State. Baugh carried the load with 38 rushes for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns, consistently moving the chains and wearing down a stout Seminoles front to help Florida secure a signature victory.
Baugh’s stat line tells part of the story; his impact went deeper. He repeatedly found creases on early-down runs, converted third downs with decisive bursts, and showed the kind of contact balance and vision that flipped drives into scoring opportunities. In a game where tempo and physicality mattered most, Baugh’s ability to sustain long, punishing drives gave Florida control of the clock and the momentum late in the contest.
Just Missed the Cut
QB – Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt: 18-of-28 passing; 268 yards; 1 TD; 2 INTs; 20 rushes for 165 yards; 1 TD
RB – Quintrevion Wisner, Texas: 19 carries; 155 yards in upset win over Texas A&M
RB – Kaytron Allen, Penn State: 22 carries; 226 yards; 1 TD
RB – Roman Hemby, Indiana: 12 carries; 152 yards; 1 TD
DL – Rueben Bain, Miami (FL): 5 tackles; 1.5 sacks; dominated line of scrimmage vs Pitt
QB – Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, California: 31-of-40 passing; 330 yards; 1 TD in upset over SMU
RB – Caleb Hawkins, North Texas: 25 carries; 186 yards
Each of these players delivered standout performances that could have easily swung the vote. Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia offered a rare dual-threat day with 165 rushing yards and a passing line that led Vanderbilt to a 10-win season. Texas’ Quintrevion Wisner powered a crucial upset with efficient, explosive runs. Penn State’s Kaytron Allen and North Texas’ Caleb Hawkins both posted massive rushing totals that moved their offenses. Rueben Bain’s interior disruption changed the tone of Miami’s defensive effort, while Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele orchestrated a precise passing attack in a big upset win for Cal. Indiana’s Roman Hemby made the most of limited touches with high-impact gains.
Baugh’s combination of volume, efficiency, and situational toughness in a rivalry atmosphere ultimately tipped the scales. His performance didn’t just pile up yards; it controlled the game’s tempo and delivered when Florida needed it most. Congratulations to Jadan Baugh on being named the Week 15 Impact HVAC Player of the Week.
