Impact HVAC Player of the Week

Sportsvival had a tough job picking this week’s Impact HVAC Player of the Week, but Oregon quarterback Dante Moore claimed the honor after calmly navigating a hostile environment to lead the Ducks to a 30–24 victory over Penn State, completing 29-of-39 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Several players posted bigger box-score numbers, yet Moore’s poise under pressure, excellent decision-making, timely scrambles to pick up first downs, and his ability to protect the football in a loud, hostile stadium made him the clear choice.

Through the early part of the season Moore had shown flashes, but Saturday’s performance in a hostile atmosphere confirmed his growth as a game manager who can also make plays when required. He repeatedly found receivers in contested windows, moved the chains with well-timed runs when the pocket collapsed, and did not turn the ball over, giving Oregon the steady hand needed late in the game.

Just Missed the Cut

WR – Makai Lemon, USC: 11 receptions; 151 yards; 2 touchdowns

QB – Maddux Madsen, Boise State: 25-of-37 passing; 321 yards; 4 touchdowns

Edge – Prince Dobah, Arizona State: 3 sacks; forced fumble

WR – Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State: 8 receptions; 126 yards; 2 touchdowns

Edge – Caden Curry, Ohio State: 11 tackles; 3 sacks

RB – Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame: 2 rushing touchdowns; 2 receiving touchdowns; 127 total yards

Dante Moore’s combination of accuracy, leadership, and turnover-free play in a hostile setting outweighed flashier stat lines, giving Oregon a dependable offensive anchor as the season progressed. Congratulations on winning the Impact HVAC Player of the Week.
